2020 has been a sad year for many. It has been a particularly challenging year that has severely restricted our freedom of movement. Social connections have been limited to prevent the spread of the pandemic and travel has been difficult or impossible.

Coopération Humanitaire Luxembourg has been active in Nepal for 15 years. During these years, we have acquired a certain amount of experience in the field of our activities. Our main concern has always been to ensure that our projects are sustainable.

During 2016 and 2017, CHL’s activities in Nepal were consolidated to allow the local team to assume a more autonomous management of the project at the Eco-Village.

CHL is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, but we do not want to make a big deal out of it. Our volunteer members devote their efforts exclusively to the activities in order to achieve our objectives in the best possible conditions.

CHL has been active in development cooperation for 19 years and the enthusiasm of its active members and partners has not fainted.

The year 2015 moved us all because of the earthquakes in March that devastated a large part of central Nepal.
